Spontaneous? Standing Ovation! I consider myself a celebration solutionist. Where some see trouble or challenges I find opportunity. Often I hear complaints that the wedding couple leaves for… Sunset pictures, to sign wedding documents, or to do some activity offsite… I use this time to my advantage with planned entertainment, that is not limited to dancing. We may play a game to give away the center pieces, a Not So Newlywed Game with the guests, Bridal Scramble… The kind of games activities entertain engage the audience while the wedding couple are gone. I also prepare the audience to properly receive the couple when they return with a not so Spontaneous Standing Ovation. The wedding couple never knows that I asked guests to do this. All they know is when they return to the room everyone is standing, applauding, and happy for their return. [Smile]
